Markman Inc. was contracted to build a machining center for an automotive supplier. It was required to put in a 25mm horizontal hole, 2 tapped vertical M-10 holes, a part wash, blow dry, then removal of the part and placed on a take away conveyor for inspection and packing.

The machine has tooling checkers to insure the quality of the part, including a camera vision system that will insure the hole locations as well ast the tapping of the holes in the part.

The Machine is accurate to +/- .002" when it indexes from station to station. It is PLC controlled with a Servo Tapping head. All the tooling components are Sugino made and all pneumatic components are quality brand named comonents like SMC, Norgren, etc..
